Terms of Service

QuickMark · Effective May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using QuickMark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the extension.

2. Description of Service

QuickMark is a browser extension for quick-access bookmarks via a floating widget and popup interface. It runs entirely in your browser. No account is required.

3. License

SoftRealms grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use QuickMark. You may:

  • Install the extension on any number of devices
  • Distribute unmodified copies of the extension

You may NOT:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the extension
  • Modify or create derivative works
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Sell, lease, or sublicense the extension
  • Use the extension for any unlawful purpose

4. Intellectual Property

The code, design, icons, and documentation of QuickMark are the intellectual property of SoftRealms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. User Data & Privacy

QuickMark does not collect or transmit any user data. All data is stored locally in your browser's storage. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Third-Party Services

QuickMark uses only the Google Favicon Service to retrieve site icons. SoftRealms is not responsible for the availability or policies of Google's services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

QuickMark is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Availability or uninterrupted operation
  • Accuracy of displayed information

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoftRealms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of QuickMark.

Total liability is capped at $0 (QuickMark is a free extension).

9. Modifications to Extension

SoftRealms may modify or discontinue QuickMark at any time without notice. Updates are distributed via the Chrome Web Store.

10. Modifications to Terms

SoftRealms may update these terms at any time. Continued use of QuickMark after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

This license automatically terminates if you violate any of these terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the extension. Sections 4, 7, and 8 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law principles.
