Summary

QuickMark does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information stays in your browser.

Data Storage

QuickMark uses the Chrome Storage API to store the following data locally in your browser:

• Bookmarks (URLs, names, favicons)
• Widget settings and preferences
• Tab order and organization

Data is stored in chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local. No external servers are used.

Network Requests

QuickMark makes requests only to google.com/s2/favicons to retrieve site icons. Favicons are fetched once and cached locally as data URLs. No cookies or credentials are sent with these requests.

Data Collection

QuickMark does NOT collect:

• Personal information
• Browsing history
• Page content
• Keystrokes
• Analytics data
• Crash reports
• IP addresses
• Device identifiers

Third-Party Services

QuickMark does NOT use:

• Analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Error tracking platforms
• Any third-party SDKs

The only external service used is the Google Favicon Service for retrieving site icons.

Data Sharing

QuickMark does NOT share data with:

• The developer (SoftRealms)
• Third parties
• Advertisers
• Data brokers

Data Export & Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Export: Export all bookmarks as JSON via Settings
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the extension removes all data
• Reset: Use the Reset option in Settings to clear everything

Permissions

Children's Privacy

QuickMark does not collect data from anyone, including children. There is no mechanism for data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, an updated version will be published and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision.
