Privacy Policy
Summary
NetSentry does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The software operates entirely offline. No account is required.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
NetSentry does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Device identifiers
- Usage statistics
- Network traffic content
- Crash reports
- Location data
- IP addresses sent to any external service
2. Data Stored Locally
NetSentry stores the following data locally on your machine only:

Logs auto-delete after 7 days and are capped at 10 MB.
3. Network Activity
NetSentry sends ICMP Ping requests only when latency monitoring is active. These are standard network diagnostic packets sent to addresses you configure.
NetSentry does NOT:
- Contact any SoftRealms server
- Perform auto-updates
- Send crash reports
- Transmit analytics data
4. Third-Party Data
NetSentry includes a bundled copy of the MaxMind GeoLite2 database for offline IP-to-country lookups. This database is stored locally and no queries are sent to MaxMind servers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share any data. There is no data to share.
6. Children's Privacy
NetSentry does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. There is no mechanism for data collection of any kind.
7. Data Retention
All data is stored locally on your machine. Uninstalling NetSentry removes all associated data. Diagnostic logs auto-delete after 7 days.
8. Security
No data is transmitted externally, eliminating network-based data exposure risks. Local data is protected by standard Windows file system permissions.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will:
- Update this page with the revised policy
- Include the change in the application changelog
- Never retroactively collect data
